This summary is for convenience. The full Terms below are what apply.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and HolyMake sp. z o.o. ("HolyMake", "we", "us"). They govern your use of Ridox: our iPhone app (the "App"), our website at ridox.app, and the related services we provide (together, the "Service").

You accept these Terms when you tap a button next to the statement "By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy", or when you start a trial or subscription. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you live in the United States, Section 25 requires you to resolve disputes with us through individual arbitration and waives class actions and jury trials. You can opt out within 30 days (Section 27).

2. Who we are

HolyMake sp. z o.o.
ul. Hoża 86 lok. 410, 00-682 Warszawa, Poland
Email: support@ridox.app

support@ridox.app is our contact for support, complaints and legal notices. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.

3. Eligibility and your account

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By accepting these Terms, you confirm that:

3.2 Your account

The first time you open the App, Ridox creates an anonymous account for you. You can then sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an email address and password; email accounts require email confirmation. You agree to:

You are responsible for what happens under your account, unless it results from our failure to keep the Service secure.

3.3 Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. What we delete, and what we keep, is explained in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. To stop future charges, cancel through Apple (Section 9.4).

4. The Service and what you need to use it

4.1 What we provide

Through the App and the website, we provide:

We may change, add or remove features to improve the Service, for security, or because of legal or technical requirements. If a change materially reduces what you pay for, we will tell you in advance, and you can cancel (Section 28).

4.2 Technical requirements

To use Ridox you need:

The verdict works best with an Apple Watch or another device that records sleep, heart-rate variability and resting heart rate in Apple Health, or with a connected Garmin device. Without those, Ridox gives lower-confidence verdicts based on your check-ins and rides. The website works in any up-to-date web browser.

4.3 Availability

We work to keep the Service available, but it may sometimes be interrupted, for example for maintenance, because of a fault, or because a provider we rely on (Apple, our hosting or our AI provider) is unavailable.

5. Training guidance, not medical advice

Ridox is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Ridox turns your recovery and training data into training guidance, based on general patterns in that kind of data. It is not a clinical assessment of your health. Ridox does not know your medical history, your diagnoses or your medications, and the verdict and coach can be wrong.

For chest pain, dizziness, fainting, unusual shortness of breath, a suspected heart condition or any other health concern, stop exercising and talk to a doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. Do not use Ridox, or anything the coach says, as a substitute for professional medical advice, and never ignore or delay seeking that advice because of something in the App.

Cycling and endurance training carry inherent risks, including injury from crashes, traffic and overexertion. You decide whether, when and how hard to ride, and you are responsible for:

Nothing in this Section limits liability that cannot be limited by law (see Section 22).

6. License to use the Service

As long as you follow these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use. For the App, this license is also subject to the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and to Section 32.

You may not:

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

8. Your content

Your content in the Service is private to your account. It includes your messages to the coach, check-ins, ride notes and coach memories, together with the data the App reads from Apple Health or receives from Garmin. Ridox has no public feed, comments or sharing between users.

You keep ownership of your content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process and display your content, and to send it to our service providers. This license exists only so we can provide, secure and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we keep as described there.

You confirm that you have the right to share the content you give us.

9. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

9.1 Plans

Ridox needs an active free trial or subscription; there is no free tier. We offer a monthly and a yearly subscription. The current price of each plan, in your currency and including any applicable taxes, is shown in the App and in Apple's payment sheet before you confirm a purchase.

9.2 Automatic renewal

YOUR SUBSCRIPTION RENEWS AUTOMATICALLY at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. Apple charges the payment method linked to your Apple Account within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period (or your free trial) ends.

When you start a trial or subscription, you give Apple, and us, your express consent to charge you on a recurring basis until you cancel.

9.3 Apple is the merchant of record

Every Ridox purchase is made through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment, collects any applicable taxes, and handles billing, receipts, failed payments and refunds under its own terms (the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions). We never receive your card or bank details. If Apple cannot charge you, its retry and grace-period rules apply, and your access may pause until payment succeeds.

9.4 How to cancel

You can cancel at any time in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Ridox, or from the App's subscription settings, which take you to Apple's subscription page.

9.5 Price changes

If we raise the price of your subscription, Apple will notify you in advance, as its rules require. Where Apple's rules or the law require it, the new price applies only once you agree to it; if you do not agree, your subscription ends at the end of the current period. You can always cancel before a new price takes effect.

9.6 Taxes

The prices shown by Apple include applicable taxes where Apple's rules require. Apple collects and pays those taxes.

10. Free trial

New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Apple decides eligibility: usually one introductory offer per subscription group per Apple Account. When the trial ends, the plan you chose starts automatically and Apple charges you, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

You can see exactly when your trial ends in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Ridox. If you cancel during the trial, you keep access until it ends and you are not charged.

11. Refunds

Apple processes all payments for Ridox, so refunds are requested from Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Apple decides on them under its own policies. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.

EU, UK and Swiss consumers: Apple's terms give you a right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, which you exercise through Apple. Nothing in these Terms limits that right, or any other right you have under mandatory consumer law, including your rights if the Service is not as described (Section 21).

12. The AI coach

12.1 What the coach is

The coach is an AI system, not a person. Its replies are generated by large language models from third-party AI providers, which we select and may change over time. To generate a reply, we send the provider your message, your recent conversation and a summary of your training. Our Privacy Policy explains what is sent and how it is protected.

The coach may suggest changes to your plan, or facts to remember. Nothing changes unless you accept it.

12.2 Ownership

As between you and us:

12.3 No training on your data

We do not use your messages, health data or the coach's replies to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's. We only use AI providers that are contractually prohibited from using it to train their models.

12.4 Accuracy

THE COACH CAN BE WRONG. AI systems can produce answers that sound confident but are inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or do not fit your situation. Use your own judgment, check anything important, and remember that nothing the coach says is medical advice (Section 5). To the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee that any reply is accurate, complete or suitable for you.

12.5 Prohibited uses

You must not use the coach to:

12.6 Limits

We may set reasonable limits on how much you can use the coach, filter content, and suspend coach access for anyone who breaks this Section. Limits exist to keep the coach available and affordable for everyone.

13. Apple Health

Ridox's core features depend on your permission to read certain Apple Health data. That access is read-only, granted through Apple's own permission system, and you can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Ridox. If you revoke access, Ridox can still give you lower-confidence verdicts from your check-ins and rides, but it cannot use your recovery data.

14. Analytics and session recordings

To find bugs and improve the App, we use an analytics provider to collect usage events and crash reports and to record sessions, meaning a visual reconstruction of the screens you see and the taps and scrolls you make. The text you type, your coach conversations, your account details and the health figures on certain screens are hidden in recordings. Other content shown on screen, such as your daily verdict, can appear.

Our Privacy Policy describes this in detail, including the legal basis we rely on in the EEA, UK and Switzerland and how to object. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to this recording of your use of the App.

15. Intellectual property

The Service is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. This includes its software, design, text, graphics, logos, verdict and planning logic, prompts and look and feel. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

"Ridox" and our logos are trademarks of HolyMake sp. z o.o. You may not use them without our written permission.

16. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions about the Service, you allow us to use them freely to improve the Service, without paying you or crediting you. This does not give us any rights in your personal content (see Section 8).

17. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including Apple (the App Store, payments, Sign in with Apple and HealthKit), Google (Sign in with Google), Garmin (if you connect your Garmin account) and the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Apple's, Google's and Garmin's services is governed by their own terms.

Garmin. Garmin Ltd. and its subsidiaries ("Garmin") provide your Garmin data to Ridox only if you connect your Garmin account, and you can disconnect at any time (Privacy Policy). Garmin does not make, endorse or support Ridox, and is not responsible for it. To the fullest extent the law allows, Garmin gives no warranty for Ridox or for the data it provides through Ridox, and has no liability to you arising from your use of Ridox. Garmin may rely on and enforce this paragraph as a third-party beneficiary. Garmin and Garmin Connect are trademarks of Garmin Ltd. or its subsidiaries.

We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control. This does not limit our responsibility for the Service itself, including the providers we choose to run it.

18. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information, including your health data and coach conversations. Please read it.

19. Suspension and termination

19.1 By you

You can stop using the Service at any time, and delete your account as described in Section 3.3. To stop paying, cancel your subscription through Apple (Section 9.4).

19.2 By us

We may suspend or end your access to the Service if:

Where reasonable, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we stop offering Ridox altogether, we will give you at least 30 days' notice in the App or by email, and you can ask us for a copy of your data before it closes. If we end your access without it being your fault, you can ask Apple for a refund of any unused prepaid period, and we will support that request.

19.3 What survives

When your access ends, your license to use the Service ends too, and we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue will survive, including:

20. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise:

This Section does not affect your statutory rights. If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded. That includes your rights under EU, UK and Polish law when digital content or a digital service does not conform to the contract, and the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

21. Complaints

If something in the Service does not work as it should, or you are unhappy with it, email support@ridox.app. Please tell us:

We will reply within 14 days of receiving your complaint.

If you are a consumer in the EU, UK or Switzerland and the Service does not conform to these Terms, you have the remedies the law gives you:

Because Apple collects all payments, any refund or price reduction is paid through Apple. If Apple does not provide a remedy you are entitled to from us, contact us and we will put it right.

In Poland, these protections also apply to a sole trader who uses Ridox for a purpose that is not professional for them, in line with Polish law.

22. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

(a) We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from the Service or these Terms.

(b) Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (i) what you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (ii) 100 euros (or 100 US dollars, for US users).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded. That includes liability for:

If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the limits in (a) and (b) apply only as far as the mandatory law of your country of residence allows.

23. Indemnification

If you are not a consumer, or to the extent the law where you live allows it, you will indemnify us and hold us harmless against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees). This covers claims arising from:

24. Governing law and disputes

24.1 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of Poland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. For US users, the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration agreement in Section 25.

24.2 Talk to us first

Most problems can be solved quickly. Before starting any formal proceeding, please send us a written description of the dispute, the outcome you want, and the email address on your account to support@ridox.app. We will try in good faith to resolve it with you within 60 days.

For US users, sending this notice and taking part in good faith in the 60-day period is required before arbitration (Section 25). Limitation periods are paused during that period.

24.3 EU, UK, Swiss and other non-US consumers

If you live outside the United States and are a consumer, you can bring a dispute in the courts of the country where you live, or in the courts of Poland. We can bring proceedings against you only in the courts of the country where you live. Other disputes go to the competent courts of Warsaw, Poland.

If you are a consumer, you may also use out-of-court dispute resolution:

We are not obliged to take part in out-of-court procedures. We will tell you whether we agree when you propose one.

25. Arbitration agreement (US users)

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IF YOU LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES, IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT AND TO HAVE A JURY HEAR YOUR CLAIMS. YOU CAN OPT OUT WITHIN 30 DAYS (SECTION 27).

25.1 Who this applies to

This Section 25, and Sections 26 and 27, apply only if you live in the United States. They do not apply to consumers who live in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, or to anyone the arbitration agreement cannot lawfully bind.

25.2 Agreement to arbitrate

You and HolyMake agree to resolve any dispute, claim or controversy by binding individual arbitration, not in court, if it arises out of or relates to:

This includes disputes about whether this arbitration agreement is valid, what it covers, or whether it can be enforced (each, a "Dispute"). The Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq., governs this agreement.

25.3 Exceptions

The following do not have to be arbitrated:

25.4 Provider and rules

The American Arbitration Association ("AAA") will administer the arbitration under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and, where they apply, its Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules, in effect at the time the arbitration starts (adr.org). If the AAA cannot administer the arbitration, we will agree on another provider, or a court will appoint one.

25.5 How arbitration works

25.6 Fees

We will pay all AAA filing, administration and arbitrator fees for any arbitration you start, unless the arbitrator finds your claim frivolous or brought for an improper purpose. Each of us pays our own lawyers' fees, unless the law or the AAA rules provide otherwise.

25.7 Mass filings

If 25 or more similar Disputes are brought against us, or by us, with the help of the same or coordinated lawyers, the AAA's Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules apply. Under those rules:

Limitation periods are paused for any case waiting to proceed. This paragraph does not limit anyone's substantive rights.

26. Class-action and jury-trial waiver (US users)

YOU AND WE AGREE THAT EACH OF US MAY BRING DISPUTES AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

The arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims, or preside over any class or representative proceeding.

If a court decides that this waiver cannot be enforced for a particular claim or remedy, that claim or remedy, and only that one, will go to court and be decided after the individual arbitration ends. It will never proceed as a class arbitration.

WHERE A DISPUTE GOES TO COURT RATHER THAN ARBITRATION, YOU AND WE EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL, TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.

US court proceedings permitted by these Terms will take place in the state or federal courts for the county where you live, unless we both agree otherwise.

27. 30-day right to opt out of arbitration (US users)

You can opt out of Sections 25 and 26 by emailing support@ridox.app, with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out", within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Include:

Opting out has no other effect on your use of the Service. If you opt out, Disputes go to the courts described in Section 26, and our earlier arbitration agreements with you, if any, also no longer apply.

28. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, for example when we change the Service, our prices or the law. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version.

For material changes, we will tell you in the App or by email at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. Material changes include changes to fees, to key rights, or to how disputes are resolved. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription and stop using the Service before the change takes effect.

A change to the arbitration agreement does not apply to a Dispute that we already knew about before the change.

29. General

30. Notice to California users

Under California Civil Code § 1789.3, California users can contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by phone at (800) 952-5210.

Our automatic-renewal terms are in Section 9, and you can cancel online at any time through iOS Settings.

31. Notice to EEA, UK and Swiss consumers

If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland:

32. Apple-specific terms

This Section applies to the App downloaded from Apple's App Store. It contains Apple's Minimum Terms for developer end-user license agreements.

  1. Acknowledgement. These Terms are between you and HolyMake only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). HolyMake, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content. These Terms may not set usage rules for the App that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions in effect when you accept them.
  2. Scope of license. The license granted to you for the App is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. As provided there, the App may also be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
  3. Maintenance and support. HolyMake is solely responsible for any maintenance and support of the App, as specified in these Terms or as required by law. Apple has no obligation at all to provide maintenance or support for the App.
  4. Warranty. HolyMake is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, for the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to conform to a warranty are HolyMake's sole responsibility.
  5. Product claims. HolyMake, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession or use of it. These include:
    • product-liability claims
    • any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement
    • claims under consumer-protection, privacy or similar laws, including in connection with the App's use of the HealthKit framework
  6. Intellectual-property rights. If a third party claims that the App, or your possession and use of it, infringes that third party's intellectual-property rights, HolyMake, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging the claim.
  7. Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that:
    • you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that the U.S. Government has designated as a "terrorist supporting" country
    • you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties
  8. Developer name and address. Questions, complaints or claims about the App should be directed to: HolyMake sp. z o.o., ul. Hoża 86 lok. 410, 00-682 Warszawa, Poland; support@ridox.app.
  9. Third-party terms. When using the App, you must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement, for example your wireless data service agreement.
  10. Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. When you accept these Terms, Apple will have the right, and will be deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

33. Notice to users in other countries

Nothing in these Terms takes away rights that you have under mandatory consumer law where you live and that cannot be excluded by contract.

34. Reporting illegal content or rights violations

Ridox does not publish content from users to other users. If you believe something in the Service is illegal or infringes your rights, including your intellectual property, email support@ridox.app with the details, and we will look into it promptly.

35. Export controls

You may not use, export or re-export the Service in violation of export-control or sanctions laws. You represent that:

These Terms are intended as a starting point. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction. Before publishing, please have them reviewed by counsel, particularly because this Service involves health-related guidance, AI-generated content and auto-renewing subscriptions.
